Louise Walsh International Plasma Pen: Fibroblast Treatment
Plasma Pen creates an electrical charge which forms a gaseous arc of ionised plasma gas when the Plasma Pen probe is brought to 1mm above the skin. The probe does not touch the skin to create the plasm gas arc. The plasma energy transfers rapidly to the epidermis resulting in sublimation, shrinking and tightening of the skin. The heat is briefly directed to the dermis stimulating fibroblast activity. The induced inflammatory response cascade leads to the formation of new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid for a stronger, firmer smoother skin appearance. More than one treatment may be required to achieve desired results which can last 2-5 years.
